FAQ and Policies

Have Questions? We Have Answers!

What are COVID season policies?

The safety of our Dancers & Staff is of the utmost priority here at Van De Veere Productions, listed below are the new procedures we will be utilizing going forward. We are very fortunate to be able to offer a limited amount of in person classes this fall and these classes will also be offered on zoom. We are thrilled to be back, and have taken many new rules into play!

DANCERS ARRIVING AND DURING CLASS! WELCOME BACK!

Please wait either in your car or social distance in a line away the door. Your teacher will open the door once the studio is safe to enter. Please do not enter before class time. Please wear a mask at all times. Temperatures will be taken and dancers will proceed to wash their hands and sanitize. Please bring sanitizer and a water bottle to class. This will be the first 5 minutes of class.

Our dressing rooms will be closed. Please bring what you need to class. We will have a space for dancers to put their dance bags, 6 feet from others.

Dancers will move to their 6ft by 6ft square for class. Dancers will be required to stay in these squares during class. Each class will have a maximum of 10 students, and a minimum of 6 students.

Please dance in shoes. Dancers will be required to have some type of dance shoe during all dance classes, bare feet will not be allowed.

We will dance for 45 minutes. The last 10 minutes of class, the teacher will sanitize all surfaces before the next class. Dancers will not be allowed to stay in the building if they do not have back to back classes. So please pick up your dancer on time as the next group will be waiting to come in, rain or shine😊

PARENTS

We love you!

Only Students, Staff & Teachers will be allowed in the studio. There will be no parents allowed to observe, due to room limitations. Please pack umbrellas for your dancer in the case of bad weather.

Please note that our one-hour class features 5-minute check in, 45 minutes of dancing and 10 minutes of sanitizing.

Lost and Found will be removed from the building. All lost and found items will be removed each night.

CLEANING

Ballet barres if used during class, will be wiped down between each class.

All high touch areas will be wiped down in between classes.

We will have extra masks and sanitizer, but please provide your own.

WHEN NOT TO COME TO CLASS…..

Any dancer who has felt ill or had a temperature (100.4 or higher) 24-48 hours before their class. (Fever, coughing, sneezing, runny nose)

Any dancer or family member who has been potentially exposed to COVID-19, needs to stay home for a MINIMUM of 2 weeks before you will be allowed to attend classes again.

Anyone who feels they cannot comply to all procedures or if you do not feel comfortable coming into the studio for ANY reason.

THANK YOU AND WE HOPE WE CAN SEE YOU IN PERSON OR ON ZOOM THIS FALL!
